Hlengiwe Sindane is a driven and versatile media professional with a profound passion for radio as a powerful platform for entertainment, education, and information. With a solid foundation in media studies, having completed her qualifications at Boston Media House and NEMISA, Hlengiwe has a comprehensive skill set encompassing marketing, technical production, editing, and broadcasting.

Her radio journey began during her high school years, where she was a regular guest on Ligwalagwala FM and a guest presenter at Barberton Community Radio. This early exposure sparked her deep connection to the medium, and she quickly expanded her reach by contributing content to Vaal University of Technology FM (VUT FM), and gaining hands-on experience at top-tier stations like Power FM, Radio Today, and RISE FM, where she served as a programme coordinator and entertainment news presenter.

In addition to her extensive radio experience, Hlengiwe broadened her media portfolio by becoming a TV Presenter at MiTV and Soweto TV, where she hosted the eMpumalanga variety show. Before joining Ligwalagwala FM, Hlengiwe worked with 1873 Network, an online radio and TV platform in Gauteng, where she continued to hone her skills in broadcasting across both mediums.

Outside of her radio and television career, Hlengiwe is an enthusiastic MC, loves delivering school talks, and enjoys corporate gigs. She is also passionate about singing, poetry, adventure, and enjoys spending time with herself in a humorous way — speaking to herself like a “crazy person.”
