Broadcasting Journey

🎙 Radio Turf (2003 – 2007)
The Prince’s career began at Radio Turf, the campus radio station at the University of Limpopo. His talent and work ethic quickly propelled him from behind-the-scenes roles—producer, presenter, music compiler—to station management, showcasing his drive, leadership, and passion for radio.

🎙 Capricorn FM (2007 – 2012)
In 2007, he joined Capricorn FM as part of the founding team, where he produced and hosted hit shows such as:

  • The Vibe (weekend show)
  • The Silky Touch (weekday magazine show)
  • The Soul Connection (Monday to Thursday, 8PM–12AM)

His efforts contributed significantly to Capricorn FM reaching 1.5 million listeners within its first two years.

🎙 Ligwalagwala FM (2012 – Present)
In 2012, Charles joined the SABC’s Ligwalagwala FM, where he currently:

  • Produces the midday show (12PM – 3PM), which won Best Midday Show at the Mpumalanga Sunshine Awards (2015)
  • Hosts the Top 20 Chart Show on Saturdays (7AM – 9AM)
  • Hosts the Late Sunday Night Show (9PM – 12AM)

The Prince has made waves in the music industry with the release of hit singles including:

  • “Dance Floor” ft. Flexboogie
  • “Ndiyahamba” ft. Lungelo
  • “Smile” ft. Shota – a 2015 breakout hit that received national airplay and trended across platforms.
  • “7ven” ft. Mthuthu – his latest dance anthem, currently heating up dancefloors.
