About Sihlabane Ndzinisa
Sihlabane Ndzinisa is a passionate and seasoned Radio Presenter at Ligwalagwala FM, a SiSwati radio station broadcasting across South Africa and globally via online streaming. With a love for radio that began in high school, Sihlabane would imitate big-name presenters, dreaming of one day becoming a voice that informs, educates, and entertains the masses.
Growing up in the lively Emjindini Township, Barberton, came with its challenges, but Sihlabane remained focused, resisting peer pressure and social pitfalls. Instead, he chased his calling. After matriculating, he pursued radio broadcasting studies, which led him to co-found Barberton Community Radio (BCR FM) in the mid-90s. There, he quickly became a standout talent. Within five years, he was offered a national platform — joining Ligwalagwala FM, where he remains a beloved voice.
Sihlabane sees Ligwalagwala FM as his second home and his colleagues as family. He thrives on team collaboration, always aiming to deliver impactful and relevant content that resonates with millions of listeners. Whether he’s behind the mic or connecting with fans off-air, his commitment is unwavering.
Beyond radio, Sihlabane is also a sought-after DJ, having performed at various high-profile events alongside musical greats like Judith Sephuma, Afrotraction, Fistaz Mixwell, Romeo the DJ, Glen Lewis, and the late Eddie Zondi.
Vision and Passion
Sihlabane’s dream is to establish an Art and Culture Centre in Mjindini — a space where youth can express themselves creatively, hone their talents, and gain exposure in the arts industry. He strongly believes that townships are full of untapped talent and is determined to uplift and empower his community.
