Professional Career

The love for radio started in 2007, when I used to be a guest for a youth program which was ran by Ligwalagwala FM, on Sundays, from 09:30- 10:00 hosted by Bheki Sihlabela back then. From there, I fell in love with radio and went to pursue a career in Media Studies.

2013, I was a registered student with the University Of Limpopo, Turfloop Campus, studying towards a degree in Media Studies. It was July 2015 when I got an opportunity to be part of a radio station called, Radio Turf at the institution. I was a content producer for a night time show called “Midnight Express” hosted by Arthur Masoma.

It was the first show that has taught me from how to construct a script, to how to control the desk and how to sound professionally on radio. This was a training program which is offered in the Media Degree program. The training program ran for two months, but because I had love for what I was doing, I volunteered to be part of the station beyond the training.

Later 2015, I also got a chance to be a guest presenter for few times with a Polokwane Urban Community Radio Station, called “Energy FM” on a midday show, hosted by Ororiseng Muluadzi.

2015 passed on, and I completed my studies. May 2016, I then Joined Barberton Community Radio (BCR FM), until Currently. I got a chance to be a content & technical producer for two shows, namely Morning Rush, hosted by Mawethu Ngwenya and Midday Buzz, Hosted by Chingie.
