Thulane “Tboy” Khanye’ s introduction to radio was in 2007 when my personal friend introduced me to Rhodes Music Radio a campus radio for Rhodes University. I was fortunate to be admitted by one of the leading institutions in the Arts industry where I was trained to be a Sport, News writer and Presenter and later turned programme presenter where I did the weekend breakfast show on Saturday and Sunday 06H00 to 09H00. After my stay at Rhodes I joined my home Ligwalagwala FM. Im blessed with the opportunity to talk to thousands of people who allow me to be part of their lives every time I'm on radio and to give someone hope to carry on when they think they’ve hit rock bottom” that’s my favourite part of the job.

Im a humble person and I give respect to all and love doing an array of hobbies like PlayStation, Soccer, Debate and Cooking. I love doing motivational talks at schools and MC events.

My Grandmother is my all-time hero who managed to raise her children, dozens of grandchildren and kept the rest of the family together all on her own, which has always made me bear in mind that family should come first, which is the best piece of advice he’d ever been given in his life.

I have great love for good music and “anything from Joyous Celebration, Pastor Benjamin Dube, Teargas, Zola, Hugh Masekela, Soul Brothers, Rick Ross, JayZ and Maskandi is the music I listen to. When not indulging in CD’s and music, I collect movies and I love spending time with my daughter Melokuhle.
